Body Full of Weather
A Poetry Collection
by Melissa Stewart
A collection of poems tracing what the body carries, what memory refuses to release, and what it means to become yourself again.
COMING NOVEMBER 16, 2026
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Body Full of Weather is a poetry collection about what the body remembers long after the mind has learned how to survive it.
Moving through love, grief, trauma, desire, rage, and the strange tenderness of becoming yourself again, these poems explore the storms we carry beneath the skin—and what happens when we finally stop trying to outrun them.
Raw, intimate, and sometimes darkly funny, Body Full of Weather is less a story of healing than a record of transformation: what was broken, what remained, and what grew wild in the aftermath.
FROM THE COLLECTION
Twin
I’m looking for my
shadows’ twin.
hand me an
onyx mirror
wiped clean,
so I can
tuck my feet up and
watch our shadows
dance inside
the gleam.
